Foppiano Portfolio Tasting Kit
Master the World is thrilled to bring you this exciting partnership with Foppiano Vineyards with this tasting kit that allows you to taste a range of five of their smallest production red wines as well as their refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Foppiano Vineyards is proud of their Italian heritage and their deep roots in the Russian River Valley. The story of Foppiano Vineyards is a family epic full of tradition, perseverance and contributions to the history and wine industry of Sonoma County. Founded in 1896 by Giovanni Foppiano, Foppiano Vineyards is one of Sonoma County’s oldest continually operated, family-owned wineries. Their family has supplied northern California and the rest of the country with wine for over a century, surviving Prohibition. They believe that through the strength of the family and a commitment to quality, their traditions will be maintained and stand the test of time. The vision of Paul Foppiano, the fifth generation of the Foppiano family, guides the winery into the future while creating a world class wine program representative of their history.
This kit also includes a Virtual Tasting on January 19, 2021 from 3:30-5:00pm PST with Winemaker Nova Perrill and Evan Goldstein MS. Register here to learn more about these wines! This unique tasting event will also be recorded and posted on our website.
Located in western Sonoma county and named for the river that meanders through its territory, the Russian River Valley is one of Sonoma County’s most notable AVAs. All six wines featured in this kit are from the estate vineyards located here, and include Foppiano’s famous Petite Sirah from Gianna’s Block, one of their oldest head-trained vineyards with a few interplanted Zinfandel and Carignane vines among the Petite Sirah. Can you guess which of the six wines it is?
