Master The World invites you to grab six glasses and travel with Professor Paul Wagner, a viticulture and winery technology instructor at Napa Valley College. Paul will present six wines to share the stories behind his popular Audible Original audiobook, "A History of Wine in 10 Glasses."
Webinar Video for Volume 1 is now available. The webinar and recording for Volume 2 will be scheduled for January 2026 if you want a video-guided tasting. Come hear the stories behind our selection - Though the webinar will focus on history and the stories of each wine, the kit will come with the usual MTW-style tasting notes and WSET's Systematic Approach to Tasting wine grids.
Curious about what the wines are? In this second volume of Professor Paul Wagner's A History of Wine, all six wines are from the United States and the Southern Hemisphere. The first volume is now available here. Or buy the bundle as a set of 12 wines for a complete experience of A History of Wine.
These six wines will kick off our exploration of how winemaking began in this world, as we explore six distinct regions in the US and the Southern Hemisphere with six benchmark styles. "Wine is an expression of the hopes, dreams, and cultures of the people who make it, so what better way to learn about the countries of the world than by learning about their wines?"
