The theme of this tasting is “Salt of the Earth.” Together with Jimmy, you’ll explore six wines that reveal how soil and landscape leave their imprint in the glass. From limestone slopes to steep granitic vineyards, from marine-influenced coastlines to complex hillside plantings, each wine has been chosen to highlight a unique expression of terroir. Through the blind tasting, you’ll be challenged to connect these styles to their origins while sharpening your palate and deepening your appreciation for wines shaped by the earth.

Jimmy Smith is a Wine Educator, Entrepreneur, and Chief Taster based in Surrey, United Kingdom. He is the founder and owner of the West London Wine School, as well as the founder and co-owner of Streatham Wine House, Beare Green Winery, and South London Wine School.
