This kit offers an exciting tour of Argentina’s wine regions and varieties. Highlighted by a pair of wines produced from the Mendoza region with Argentina’s signature grape, Malbec, this kit also includes several varieties that showcase the many exciting terroirs of Argentina. Grapes like Bonarda which has a long history in Argentina are complimented by new varieties and regions like Pinot Noir from Patagonia and Torrontes from Salta. Perhaps the biggest surprise in this kit will be the overall excellence of the Puramum Chardonnay from heralded winemaker Pepe Galante.
The kit includes a selection of 6 wines (187 ml / 6.3 oz. each ) – easily enough for two people to taste. The wines have been carefully selected by a CIA wine and beverage professor to illustrate the concepts of the area of focus.
These kits are typically only available for CIA master’s degree students. After you order, you will receive a shipment notification when your order is processed to ship. Please make sure that someone is available to sign for your package as an adult signature is always required – you can always ship to your nearest UPS store if necessary.
