This wine course features six wines from the Alentejo region of Portugal, Jonathan will take you through a tasting journey of the landscape of endlessly open countryside, gently undulating plains, wide blue skies and distant horizons. Learn about the mingling of vines, cork and olive trees and its ever changing canvas of color throughout the seasons in this region that covers one third of Portugal’s territory. Over 3000 hours of sunshine annually and limited influence from the Atlantic ocean create distinct wines in the administrative districts of Beja, Évora and Portalegre.
